Far from the fairy tale ending Windsorites had hoped for! The Windsor Spitfires lost their chance for their third straight Memorial Cup win during a disappointing game in a 10 – 4 loss to the Owen Sound Attack.

Although the Spits did hold the lead at one point during game 5, the Attack was the stronger team. They now advance to the OHL final.
