Lifehouse at the DTE Energy Music Theatre

Double-platinum selling alternative rock band Lifehouse with special guests American Idol‘s Season Eight winner, Kris Allen, and local band Wayland will perform at DTE Energy Music Theatre on Monday, August 15 at 7:30pm.

Tickets at $35 and $25 pavilion and $10 lawn go on sale this Saturday, July 23 at 10:00am at The Palace and the DTE Energy Music Theatre box office and all Ticketmaster locations.

Lifehouse released its smash debut No Name Face in 2000, which launched them to global stardom. Their breakout single “Hanging by a Moment” won the Billboard Music Award for Hot 100 Single of the Year in 2001.They followed up their debut album with Stanley Climbfall in 2002 and a self-titled album in 2005 which made the top 10 on the Billboard 200. Who We Are, released in 2007, produced “First Time” and “Broken,” which generated more than three million digital downloads for the two singles.

Lifehouse’s most recent album Smoke and Mirrors was released in 2010 and debuted at number six on the Billboard 200. With more than 50,000 units sold, the album marked the highest chart debut of their 10-year career, beating out first week chart position for their 2002 sophomore set Stanley Climbfall, which debuted at number seven. The album’s single “From Where You Are” was written for Allstate Insurance’s Teen Driving program and was aired on NBC, as well as featured in the WB hit soap opera One Tree Hill.
