Former NHLer Barry Potomski dead at 38

Former NHL player and Windsor native, Barry Potomski died Tuesday after collapsing at LifeStyle Family Fitness.

Potomski, 38, played for the Los Angeles Kings in 1994, then went on to play for the San Jose Sharks as a free agent in 1997.  Potmoski, retired not long after being signed in 1998 as a free agent with the Detroit Red Wings.

The former NHLer had just returned to Windsor and was hoping to run a hockey school here.

Funeral arrangements have not been finalized.
