			<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>LaSalle police are looking to the public for help after a convenience stor was robbed at gun point Friday night.</p>
<p>The robbery occurred about 8:20 p.m. when a 18-25-year-old male armed with a hand gun, pointed it at the clerk and demanded money. The clerk gave him an undisclosed amount of cash and the suspect fled.</p>
<p>The incident happened at Marty&#8217;s Corner Convenience in the 9300 block of Malden.</p>
<p>The suspect is described as having blonde hair and no facial hair. He was wearing a red ball cap, yellow button down short sleeve shirt, baggy jean shorts and running shoes.</p>
<p>Anyone with any information is asked to call police at 519-969-5210 or Crime Stoppers at 519-258-8477.</p>

		<description><![CDATA[One dog is dead......]]></description>
			<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>Saturday evening a woman was on her front porch with two dogs, a Mini Schnauzer and a Maltese Poodle when a German Shepard attacked the dogs kill the Poodle.  The woman was bitten and her neighbour attempted to stop the German Shepard by hitting it with a shoe.</p>
<p>Shortly thereafter, a woman and a young girl showed up calling the dog &#8220;Keeta&#8221; but denied they owned the dog and they left.</p>
<p>The German SHepard is black with grey patches.</p>
<p>Amherstburg police need the public’s assistance in locating either the dog or the owner of the dog. If you have any information, please contact Amherstburg Police.</p>

		<description><![CDATA[ All but three beaches......]]></description>
			<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>All but three beaches are safe for swimming in the Windsor/Essex County area.</p>
<p>The beaches that are considered safe as it stands are the following: Hillman Beach in Leamington, West Belle River Beach and Lakeside Beach.</p>
<p>The rest of the beaches in the area have high E.coli counts.  The acceptable limit of 100 was not the case with these beaches as they exceeded the limit with Colchester and Holiday Beaches nearing the 1000 mark. </p>

<p>Emergency Services Personel are on scene and one man has been taken to hospital.</p>

		<description><![CDATA[A windsor man is in custody....]]></description>
			<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>A windsor man is in custody after a domestic dispute became violent.</p>
<p>Windsor police have a man in custody after he got into a fight with a 33 year old woman, picked her up by the throat and choked her. The woman fell to the ground unconsciousness where she hit her head.</p>
<p>The woman regained consciousness and tried to leave, but the suspect would not allow her to leave however she managed at one point to get away only to pass out on the sidewalk on her way to the hospital.</p>
<p>Facing charges in this incident is Jason West of Windsor. He will appear in court today.</p>

<p>Five people from Windsor and Amherstburg have been charged after five kilograms of pure coke, along with marijuana and percocet were seized, totaling nearly half a million dollars. Also found were four handguns, including a .45 calibre and 9mm semi-automatic and more than $20,000 in cash.</p>

		<description><![CDATA[Tecumseh teen arrested after....]]></description>
			<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>OPP have arrested a Tecumseh teenager after he allegedly struck a parked car, a couple of trees and a porch while driving out of control.<br/><br/></p>
<p>Witnesses said a white Chevrolet Cavalier was travelling on Green Valley Drive when it hit a parked car. The car then hit two trees and a porch on St. Thomas Street and continued to drive off.<br/><br/> </p>
<p>Charged with impaired driving and operating a vehicle with a blood alcohol content over 80 milligrams is Alex Zonjic, 18. Zonjic.<br/><br/></p>
<p>He will appear in court in Windsor on July 15 and was issued a 90-day drivers licence suspension.</p>

			<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>On Sunday a state of emergency was issued for Leamington after what appeared to be a tornado struck the area.<br/><br/></p>
<p>No injuries have been reported, however the damage to the community is quite severe.  There are reports of downed wires and numerous fallen trees. The power is also out for most of the area and may be out until Tuesday.</p>

<p>The OPP charged Dr. Thomas Barnard with two counts of fraud over $5000.  The 61 year old submitted fraudulent billings to OHIP between 2007 and 2009 for time-based services which were not rendered.<br/><br/></p>
<p>Dr. Thomas J. Barnard is scheduled to appear in court on July 13th.</p>

			<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>Windsor police have two suspects in custody for the beating and robbing of Chris Rabideau.<br/><br/></p>
<p>45 year old Stephen Lambert and Michael Allard, 27 were arrested and charged with half a dozen counts in connection to the vicious robbery and beating of the openly gay man.<br/><br/></p>
<p>Chris Rabideau was robbed at a pay phone at the corner of Ouellette Ave and Giles Boulevard on Friday morning and the attack continued into the lobby of his apartment building.  He suffered a concussion, broken nose and a black eye and says he believes it was a hate crime.</p>

			<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>The Windsor Spitfires are Memorial Cup Champions again.<br/><br/> </p>
<p>In the end, the Spits came out on top with a score of 9-1.  Windsor scored 2 goals in the first, 4 goals in the second and 3 goals in the third.<br/><br/>  </p>
<p>Taylor Hall was named the tournament MVP and the only player in the history of the cup to win the MVP in back-to-back years.<br/><br/></p>
<p>A parade will be held in the Spitfires honour today starting at 2pm and heads north on Ouellette Avenue from Giles Boulevard and ending at Dieppe park.</p>
