The US Coast Guard has denied a permit application by the Ambassador Bridge Company, creating more headaches for bridge owner Matty Moroun.

The Coast Guard says the application is incomplete because of property ownership issues.

Last month a court instructed the bridge company to tear down the new duty free shop, gas pumps and toll booths the company built on city-owned property. The bridge company is appealing the ruling.
