The robbers, who held up the CIBC bank on Tecumseh Road East last week, were being tailed by Toronto Police.

Five people have been arrested and while no names have been released, they are described as being known to police.  It is believed the five suspects are the “Over the Counter Bandits” possibly responsible for as many as nine robberies in the Southern Ontario area.

The suspects were apprehended shortly after the robbery in Windsor when the tailing police rammed the suspect’s car.
